The site is the brainchild of artist Matt Tommey and focuses on raising a generation of artists that reveal God’s glory. There are 4 tenants to their ministry strategy, I like them:
- Wholeness
- Connection
- Creative Skill
- Community
According the the site, the vision of the Worship Studio is:
“Our vision is to encourage and equip all creatives to be a part of the army of artists God is raising up to reveal His Glory in the earth. We do this by hosting conferences and retreats, the development of resources and encouraging artists to form creative communities committed to fostering personal wholeness, engaging the Holy Spirit in their creative process, artistic skill development and releasing the Glory of God through creative expression. Our long-term goal is to have a rural campus that serves as a working artist community. The campus would be a place where artists from around the world could come for encouragement, training, sabbatical and work, and would include lodging and meal facilities for 75-100 people, gallery space, organic farm, working studio spaces in a variety of creative mediums, large meeting space, music recording studio and administrative offices.”
